Free Grant Writing Workshop: 9 am to noon, UF/IFAS Extension Office, 84 Cedar Ave., Crawfordville. This event is geared towards artists, cultural organizations and nonprofits to learn about funding sources and how to successfully apply for funding. Veterans Meetup: 11 am to 12:30 pm, third Thursday monthly at the Wakulla County Public Library. Inviting all veterans to join us for conversation, networking and companionship. For info contact Roxann@wakulalibrary.org.

Wakulla County Cancer Support Group: meets at 7 pm on the third Thursday monthly in the Education Center of the Crawfordville United Methodist Church. This group meeting is for men and women, regardless of the type of cancer. Spouses, caregivers and friends are welcome. For information, call 850-926-6050.

Community Health Fair: 10 am to 1 pm, Palaver Tree Theater, 59 Shadeville Road, Crawfordville. This is presented by Wakulla County’s health department.

Household Hazardous Waste Day: Hosted by Keep Wakulla Beautiful from 8 am until noon at the Wakulla County Community Center, at 318 Shadeville Road, Crawfordville. Bring paint, oil, solvents, pesticides, batteries, up to 5 gallons of paint for residents, and many other items.

2022 Celebration of the Arts: Elementary and middle-school performances start at 3:30 pm and high-schoolers perform at 6 pm at Wakulla High School in Crawfordville. The event will showcase the various art programs in the county from pre-K to high school. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults. There will also be a silent auction. All proceeds from this event will fund scholarships for Wakulla High School seniors pursuing a major or minor in visual or performing arts.

Monday, April 25

Sunset and Full Moon Climb: 7 to 9 pm, Cape St. George Lighthouse, Carrabelle. 15 minutes for each group, one group at a time. No reservations. Mask required. $10 each general public, $7 members. Cash or credit. Must be at least 40 inches tall; children must be age 13 and over to access the outside catwalk. For information, contact the Lighthouse Gift Shop at 850-927-7745.

Bingo: 7 to 9 pm at Seineyard at Wildwood, 3870 Coastal Highway, Medart. This event helps support the animal shelter.

Wednesday, April 27

Alcoholics Anonymous: meets at noon and 6:30 pm at American Legion, 54 Ochlockonee St., Crawfordville. Call (850) 445-5376.
